Princess wife of British Crown Prince William Kate Middleton didn’t hesitate to adhere to royal protocol when he politely declined a fan’s autograph request.
The incident happened on Monday this week when the Princess of Wales surprised everyone by attending the Chelsea Flower Show’s first children’s picnic party in London.
For the occasion, Kate invited children from 10 different elementary schools to an outdoor lunch, where they had the opportunity to see a variety of flower displays in the garden.
He also got a chance to interact with the younger students who were working on their sketches there.
Some said that when a fan asked Princess Kate to sign her drawing, she politely declined.
The princess said: ‘I can’t write my name, but I can draw something.’
Instead of writing her own name, Kate drew a picture of a flower on a sketch of a seven-year-old girl named Ruby, People said.

Another fan later asked the princess why she couldn’t sign the drawing with her name, to which Kate explained: ‘My name is Catherine. I am not allowed to sign my signature anywhere. This is one of the royal principles.’

He said: ‘Louis is growing broad beans at school. You put them in a cup and you can see those roots growing. They grow as quickly as sunflowers.’
